Organisation of walks
The Dorset group organises events throughout the year, usually on the 2nd Sunday of the month and the 5th Sunday starting at hrs
The representative walk length is 6 to 9 miles with a picnic enroute getting back to our starting point in time for a meal/refreshments at a local pub; plus we are sometimes invited back to the leader's house for tea.
We also often hold midweek walks on the 4th Friday of the month (which are shorter and contain a pub lunch) starting a little later.
In addition there are social events and in the summer some short easy strolls on a Tuesday
