Who All&#;s Lgbtq+ Here On Netflix for December

Honestly Netflix did a lot for us last month so I will hand them a overtake on this month&#;s poor showing. However they&#;ve got a lot of modern stuff there&#;s not much info on yet, so who knows what could turn up!

Chloe () &#; December 1
Another entry in the &#;problematic when it was all we had but kinda fun in the s&#; is this stupid thriller starring Amanda Seyfried as Chloe, a sex worker hired by gynecologist Catherine (Julienne Moore) to find out if her husband is having an affair

Wild Things () &#; December 1
This movie is unpleasant in a very fun way and there is girl-on-girl action that was honestly inspirational in and I will likely never find if it holds up!

Best LGBTQ+ Movies On Amazon Prime Right Now

Finding good LGBTQ+ films to stream can often be a daunting task, but Amazon Prime brings with it some great options. From powerful foreign-language features to classic Academy Award nominees and cinematic masterpieces, Amazon Prime's offerings cover many different facets of the rainbow spectrum. It can take a lot of typing since Amazon Prime’s Homosexual catalog rarely auto-fills in the search menu until spelling out most of the title, but the effort is well worth it.

It is perhaps a testament to changing attitudes within the studio system that so many award-winning LGBTQ+ centered films are finally getting made. While not exactly equitable to the number of cisgender heterosexual productions green-lit daily, a global uptick is certainly a move in the right direction for inclusivity. And, the production values have never been greater: what once seemed favor an indie genre shot by amateurs now claims top talent in front of and behind the camera.

SUMMARY

Considering the quality, quantity, and diversity of films distributed under the Amazon Studios banners, GLAAD has given Amazon a FAIR grade.

Amazon continues to release high-profile film content onto its streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. Many of these contain LGBTQ leads, including GLAAD Media Award-winning teen drama Anything’s Possible, a GLAAD List script honoree starring a Black transsexual woman, and My Policeman, a GLAAD Media Award nominee that tells a decades-spanning gay love story. There are also several films tracked with supporting LGBTQ characters, such as The People We Despise at the Wedding and Something from Tiffany’s. However, there were still opportunities to flesh out LGBTQ characters into larger roles. United Artists Releasing’s two LGBTQ-inclusive films, Bones and All and Women Talking, both left something to be desired with their portrayals of a lgbtq+ man and trans gentleman respectively.
