Close to Herring Cove Beach you'll come across Provincetown's gay nudist beach. It's sometimes known as Boy Beach - or just The Gay Beach. It's a fairly slim stretch of beach and you'll often find boiling men in their speedos and playing music on portable speakers.
A mark leads there from Province Land Road (route 6A). Go to the complete of Bradford Street and turn right onto Province Land Road. As the area is managed by the Cape Cod National Seashore, nude sunbathing is theoretically forbidden but no one seems to mind or check; however if the police do come, nude bathers could be issued with a $50 spot fine.
There are no amenities in the homosexual part of the beach so be sure to bring drinking water.
