Soho will always have a place in homosexual London, however as rent prices increase and more locals advance out to the fringe neighborhoods, the queer scene has seen a slight revival and resurgence elsewhere in the city. Shoreditch and Hackney in East London own long been the site of London’s alternative cultures, so it’s no surprise to see some of those institutions (and recent ones, opening often) with huge LGBTQ crowds making this area one of the best for gay and lesbian visitors.

The Glory creates one of London’s biggest, most respected, and most-talked about flamboyant contests LIPSYNC! Established at Bistrotheque in under a unlike name, this dazzling contest was created by Jonny Woo fifteen years ago.
Currently about drag performers enter the rivalry each year which culminates in a big cash prize Grand Final judged by celebrities. Its very simple contestants at a heat present one number they are judged on their lip-syncing, their drag look, and their overall trace. Guest judges, helped along by the cheering crowd, grab two winners each week and they win a place in the humungous final with vast prizes. The Grand final is similar to a heat but supersized each Heat winner performs one number, and there is one winner, with two runners-up.
